Editing Your Saved Signature and Initials

People rebrand, names change, and sometimes you just drew it badly on a trackpad. Updating your saved signature takes under a minute. 

Update Your Saved Signature

1.  Click your avatar in the top bar and open My Profile → Signatures & Initials. 

2.  Find the signature or initials you want to change and click the edit (pencil) icon. 

3.  Create the replacement: draw, type, or upload, exactly like the first time. 

4.  Save. 

What Changes and What Doesn't 

•  Future signing uses the new mark immediately, everywhere. 

•  Already-signed documents never change. Completed documents are cryptographically sealed, your old signature on them remains exactly as applied, which is precisely what makes them legally reliable. 

Tip: If you're switching from a typed to a drawn signature, do it on your phone, a finger on glass beats a mouse every time.
