I Can't Log In to My Account

Jul 31, 20262 min read

Locked out? Don't worry — login problems almost always trace back to one of six causes, and each has a quick fix. Work through this list in order.

1. Check Your Email Address

Typos are the number-one cause of failed logins. Confirm you're using the exact address you registered with — including the right domain (.com vs .co, work vs personal email).

2. Reset Your Password

1.  On the login page, click Forgot password?

2.  Enter your email and submit.

3.  Follow the link in the reset email to set a new password.

If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check spam.

3. Did You Sign Up with Google?

If you registered using Sign in with Google, your account has no password at all. Use the Google button on the login page instead of the password form.

4. Two-Factor Code Problems

2FA codes come from your authenticator app, not your email. Open the app and use the current 6-digit code — codes rotate every 30 seconds, so a code that just expired won't work. Lost access to your authenticator? Contact support to verify your identity and reset 2FA.

5. Password Expired

If your organization enforces password rotation, Inkfree will prompt you to set a new password at login. Follow the on-screen steps — your old password won't work once expired.

6. Account Locked

Repeated failed attempts trigger a temporary security lock. Wait a few minutes and try again with the correct credentials.

Still locked out after all six? Contact the support team from the login page with your account email — we'll investigate.
