How to View Recipient Activity History

"He says he never saw it." The audit trail settles this in one click — every recipient interaction is recorded from the moment you hit Send. 

Steps 

1.  Open the request from your Sign Request list. 

2.  Read the Audit Trail panel on the detail page: 

 •  Email delivered and email opened events. 

•  Document viewed — each view, with IP address and device. 

•  Verification events — OTP entered, access code passed. 

•  Actions — approvals, signatures, declines, delegations, reminders — timestamped to the second. 

3.  Click View full audit log for the complete history beyond recent events. 

Reading It Like a Pro 

•  Delivered but never opened → it's in their spam; tell them to search "Inkfree". 

•  Opened but never viewed → they saw the email and deferred; a reminder works. 

•  Viewed repeatedly, never signed → they're hesitating on content; call them.
