How to Personalize Documents Within a Bulk Send
Bulk doesn't have to mean generic. With extra CSV columns, each recipient's copy carries their own details (name, salary, territory), generated automatically at send time.
Mapping the Columns
1. Add a column to your CSV for each personalized value: salary, start_date, region…
2. In the document editor, place a text field where each value should appear.
3. On the mapping step, connect each CSV column to its field.
4. Preview a couple of rows to confirm values land correctly, then send.
What Each Recipient Sees
Their own copy with their own values: the offer letter says their salary, the agreement names their territory. One template, hundreds of individually complete documents, each separately signed and sealed.
Tip: Format values in the CSV exactly as they should print ("$85,000", not "85000"); the field shows the value verbatim.
