How to Personalize Documents Within a Bulk Send
Bulk doesn't have to mean generic. With extra CSV columns, each recipient's copy carries their own details — name, salary, territory — generated automatically at send time.
Steps
1. Add a column to your CSV for each personalized value: salary, start_date, region…
2. In the document editor, place a text field where each value should appear.
3. On the mapping step, connect each CSV column to its field.
4. Preview a couple of rows to confirm values land correctly, then send.
What Each Recipient Sees
Their own copy with their own values — the offer letter says their salary, the agreement names their territory. One template, hundreds of individually complete documents, each separately signed and sealed.
Tip: Format values in the CSV exactly as they should print ("$85,000", not "85000") — the field shows the value verbatim.
