How to Upload an Attachment While Signing
Some documents ask you to attach a file as part of signing, such as a copy of your ID or an insurance certificate. You do it from the same signing link, with no account and no separate email.
Uploading Your File
1. Open the document from your signing link, as you would when signing any document you received. Scroll to the highlighted Attachment field.
2. Tap or click Add attachment.
3. Choose a file from your device. On a phone you can usually take a photo instead; see signing on a mobile device for tips.
4. Check the preview. Make sure it is the right file and that the text is readable. If not, remove it and upload again.
5. Complete your other fields and click Finish. The file is saved with the signed document.
File Rules
• Types: PDF, JPG, or PNG. Convert Word files or HEIC photos to PDF or JPG first.
• Size: up to 10 MB per file. If a phone photo is too large, retake it at a lower resolution or scan it to PDF.
• Count: up to 5 files by default, unless the sender's organization allows more.
If the Upload Fails
A failed upload usually means the file is the wrong type or over 10 MB. Check both, then try again. If the field is marked required, Finish stays disabled until a file is uploaded, so contact the sender if you do not have the document they asked for.
