Navigating Inkfree: Sidebar, Top Bar, and the Create Request Button

Inkfree's interface has three permanent landmarks: the sidebar on the left, the top bar above, and the Create Request button that starts everything. Learn these once and you'll never feel lost. 

The Create Request Button 

The Create Request button is located at the top of the sidebar and is available from every screen. Click the main button to create a new sign request. Click the arrow beside it to choose from additional request types: 

• I am the only signer – upload a document and sign it yourself.  
• Me and others – create a sign request for yourself and one or more additional signers.  
• Bulk send – send the same document to multiple recipients in separate sign requests. 

 The Sidebar  

From top to bottom: 

•  Dashboard — your daily overview and quick-start drop zone. 

•  Templates — reusable documents with saved fields and roles. 

•  Web Forms — signable forms shared by link. 

•  Contacts — your saved recipients, importable via CSV. 

•  Sign Request — every request you've sent, with status filters and search. 

•  Reports — team analytics on the Business plan. 

Click Close Sidebar at the bottom to collapse it to icons — handy on smaller screens. 

The Top Bar 

•  Usage & Plan — the ring shows documents used against your plan allowance (e.g. "3 / 25 docs"). Click it to manage your plan. 

•  Inbox — access incoming sign requests, track their status, and take action on documents that require your attention. 

•  Notifications — the bell lights up when someone views, signs, or declines. 

•  Help — the question mark opens this Help Center. 

•  Profile — your avatar leads to Settings, Signatures & Initials, and log out. 

Tip: The Settings area (from your avatar) has its own left navigation: My Profile, Security, Delegation, and Support Tickets under Personal; My Plan, Roles, Teams, Document Settings, and Security Policies under Organization.
