"You Don't Have Access" — Permission-Restricted Pages

Jul 30, 20260 min read

A lock screen with "You don't have access" means your role doesn't include the permission that page requires — policy, not malfunction.

Why You're Seeing It

Workspace admins assign each member a role, and roles grant specific permissions per resource (view inbox, manage templates, see reports…). Land on a page beyond your role and Inkfree shows the notice rather than an error:

 Getting Access

1.  Ask your workspace admin — name the page and what you need to do there.

2.  The admin can adjust your existing role in Settings → Roles, or assign you a different role in Settings → Teams

3.  Changes take effect immediately—ask the user to sign out and sign back in to refresh their access.

For Admins Reading This

Requests like these are your role design giving feedback. If the third salesperson this month asks for template access, add it to the "Sales Sender" role rather than granting one-off exceptions — roles stay meaningful when they match how people actually work.
