What to Do If Your Inkfree Invitation Link Has Expired
An Inkfree team invitation link works for 7 days. After that, opening it shows "This invitation has expired. Please ask your administrator to resend it." and sends you to the login page. Your account is still waiting for you; you only need a fresh link.
What the Messages Mean
- "This invitation has expired." The link is more than 7 days old. Ask your administrator for a new invitation.
- "…link is no longer valid. A newer one may have been sent, or this one has already been used." A newer invitation has replaced this one, or you already used it. Look for a more recent email from Inkfree, and if you already set up your account, log in instead.
- "You have not finished setting up your account yet." You tried to log in before accepting. Use the link in your invitation email to set up your account first.
Getting a New Invitation
- Search your inbox, including spam, for the most recent invitation email from Inkfree. If it arrived within the last 7 days, use that link.
- If every link has expired, ask the administrator who invited you for a new invitation. A new invitation replaces the old link and comes with a fresh 7 days.
- Open the new link and finish setting up your account.
For administrators: an invited teammate shows as Invited in Settings → Teams until they finish setting up, and their invitation uses a seat in the meantime. If a teammate's link has expired, contact support with their email address to have a new invitation sent. Inviting an address that is still waiting to accept is refused, so you won't create a duplicate account. See how to invite team members.
When Is My Account Active?
Opening the email is not enough. Your status changes from Invited to Active once you complete setup: set a password, sign in through your company's single sign-on for the first time, or register a passkey. From then on, you log in like any other member of the account.
Tip: Accept an invitation as soon as it arrives. It takes a minute, and it saves a round trip to your administrator a week later.
