Understanding the Usage Meter in the Top Bar

Jul 31, 20262 min read

That small ring next to Usage & Plan is your fuel gauge — it answers "how much sending do I have left?" without a trip to Settings.

Reading It

 •  The label shows documents used / plan allowance — for example, "3 / 25 docs".

•  The ring fills proportionally as you send sign requests.

•  Nearly full? Time to plan: upgrade, or wait for the cycle reset.

What Counts Against It

Each sign request you send consumes one document from your allowance. Drafts don't count until sent; voided requests have already counted (the send happened).

When You Hit the Limit

Sending pauses — but nothing breaks. In-flight requests continue, signers keep signing, completions keep arriving. New sends resume when you upgrade or the billing cycle resets.

Tip: Click the meter itself to jump straight to Settings → My Plan.
