How to Upload a Document to Inkfree

Jul 31, 20261 min read

Everything in Inkfree starts with an upload. Whether it's a contract from legal, an offer letter from HR, or a form you drafted five minutes ago, getting it into Inkfree takes seconds.

Steps

1.  Click Create Request in the sidebar — or skip a step by dropping the file straight onto the dashboard drop zone.

2.  On the Select documents to be signed screen, drag your file into the upload area, or click to browse.

 3.  Add more files if this request needs several documents — an offer letter plus a policy pack, for example. Signers receive them as one package and sign everything in a single sitting.

4.  Drag to reorder files, or remove any you added by mistake.

5.  Click Next to move on to recipients.

Good to Know

•  Supported formats: PDF and Word (.doc/.docx). Word files are converted to PDF on upload, so the layout locks exactly as you sent it.

•  Password-protected files can't be processed — remove the password first.

•  Large files: compress oversized PDFs or split them; the size limit shows on the upload screen.
